Pure Logic Box Troubleshooting? w/ (Video)

I have been posting in the "dobeck tuning" thread, but wanted to start a seperate thread.
Why is my box only flashing at idle like it should and then it will not flash any lights going through the rpm range. Once it comes down on idle it will not flash green until it idles way down. Sled runs good, but I dont think the box is doing what its supposed too. I didnt edit this video, but just for reference here is what I am talking about. Boost might hit 5lbs a couple times, but it is real shakey. I have a turbosmart boost knob turned almost all the way down. Numbers on the box are Grn 1, Yllw 1, Red 1, Grn blue 3, Yllw blue 2-3, Red blue 6.
Also when the box is not flashing, it is like it is not on, I can press mode and try to adjust and the box does nothing. Why will it work at idle but not when reving?

looks to me like your box is turning on & off again.

check power & ground.

Had that happen on my 09 when the post got bent into the wiring, chafing a wire.

yea you got something wrong in your wiring. it looks like it is shutting right off, and when it is runnin g it does not look right either. mine just slow blinks green at idle. are you sure everything is hooked up properly? who did your install?

Would agree some thing is not rite there with the box. if new could be something bad just in the box i have got lots of new junk before Id check all the connections and go from there it should flash green at Idle and go trough all the lights on start up.

ttt

I did the install. I read through hundreds of post on how to hook up my ground and power for the M7. Currently the PL box (ground and secondary power) is coming off a bridge rectifier DC. I just talked to Jeff at Dakota and he thinks the ground needs to be chassis ground AC.
So maybe the thread I read was wrong, but I thought I would have to keep it seperate from the AC circuit. Ill update this tonight. Hope it is an easy fix, but just like you say it shuts on and off. Thanks for the help

Works Now

After changing the ground to the chassis the box work flawless, now I just need to get it to the mountains.
So, my PL Box with secondary injectors is no hooked up in this order... power (red with blue tracer) wire goes to a bridge rectifier and the (black) ground for the PL Box is now hooked to the chassis. 2005 M7
Maybe all sleds are different, but as long as this last it will stay this way. Thanks for the help to everyone on here, and Jeff at Dakota Perf. and Tonysnoo.
