After loosing and seeing others loose belts got me thinking i need a change! so im stuck here waiting and researching on a C3 or just go all out and get the CMX system with there drive shaft and other goodies!!!:face-icon-small-ton

So who has run these systems? and anyother thinking of making the change? i know maybe just maybe polaris pulls there head out and comes out with a new drive shaft and belt system next year but who knows for sure and how long all us 13 owners will have to wait for a update. just blows my mind that they had all these videos out by there enginers and team riders saying they put these sleds thru the ringer, if thats the case maybe we rider harder:face-icon-small-tonlol or they lied or even changed out parts from there demo sleds. just sucks cause i LOVE this sled and wouldnt ride any other brand even with all these problems out there im still glad with my choice and switch, mostly cause i have a awesome dealer who takes care of us!.02
 
Yes love my '13 pro chassis, but if they dont fix/address this drive issue I will not buy a new sled from Polaris again. Brand new stock snowmobile and its a ticking time bomb!

If polaris doesnt take care off its supporters why would you support them?

They sold you cheap untested junk parts and put a band aid on it! Now they are just hoping it holds up long enough to get away from the warenttee.

They need to tighten up all the tolerences, get the drive shaft solid, get the belt drive to track perfect and elimate the heat issue. If they dont take care of that well then we all have a piece of a equipment that will break at one point.

How many Pro's have been towed so far? How many by end of the year???

F*** they should come with free AAA towing and free rental sled that also has free AAA towing while yours is being fixed.....

My thought exactly I don't wana have to wait a year and worry and carry spare belts cost around 200 bucks per belt so I was thinking just to put out the 800 for the c3 and ride with out worries, but we will always do what we have to do to ride and enjoy the hell out of these sleds
 
Yes 2014 this issue will be fixed but what about all the 2013 owners, get hosed?


not sure just from buddys with there cats they took it in the shorts all year and then this year they got updates finally, (changes they did to the 13's). i just hope they dont grind out here drill here and give us a free belt like cat did lol

Grinding and drilling along with the narrow a arms seemed to help quite a bit. Things are pretty lax over in the cat section. They must be riding instead of waiting for a shaft or belt?

out of the pro's in our group not one failure. And after riding yesterday i am even in a more aahhh how well this chassis gets on top and just tractors thru...

now if I was only 100% confident it will not break down in the back country
 
Cause they fixed it right with updates to the 13 as for the 12 I thought it was chicken s@$( how they took a grinder to te secondary to fix the belt problem, ill take my Polaris over any other brand any day of te week even if it mean to carry a spare belt,
