I know some of you on here have ran these on 500s. I am tuning one on a ktm 250xc and have a couple questions. Cant get Ron by phone. First does my float height need to be higher than normal? Bike dribbles at low angle. Loaded up on a steep technical slope. And Second if my low end power feels week should I go up or down on pilot? Bike pulls very strong on top, but feels lazy off the bottom. Have been running my airscrew at around 1 turn. No splooge or sputter. Thanks in advance

Ron

I had a deposit in with ron for an intake.
I received a call from his brother bill and i was issued a refund.
Rons health has failed and he is not able to talk or work any longer.
I never got any details but sounded like a stroke?

For what it's worth I bought a lectron carb direct from lectron after giving them my specs.
This thing is amazing.

Ron was actually going to sell me an intake with a lectron carb. He was in the process of switching all the systems he sold over to the lectron.

Sadly the pulse injection may go by the wayside.
Hopefully someone buys the rights/ continues the work.

Thats too bad. Ron was a super enthusiastic motor head. Always cheery and super helpful ! The Pulse is a great carb !

Does anyone know how to get a hold of Rons brother ?

I was afraid this was the situation. Bummer. I am in the process of tuning a pulse on my ktm 250. Had some questions regarding set-up. Anyone know if the float level needs to be higher than standard? My carb was shipped with float level very high. I adjusted and seems better, but I don't know the ins and outs of this set up yet. Sure does seem to make good power though. Especially on top. Probably gonna find its self on my 300 snowbike.
