If your thinking of raising the back of the track up, so if on the garage floor the back of the track would not be touching.......yes ? the issue is you are then putting pressure on the very front of your suspension and your track will want to dig and not climb on top of the snow.
on our home made bikes we have:
adjustable strut
lots of room to play on our M8 suspension
testing and making adjustments a month ago in deep tough to go snow, pressure in the front of the skid, noticeable loss of ability to climb on the snow
stiffer rear suspension choppy ride and loss of going through the snow ability
adjust strut shorter, pressure in front raising rear of skid, again very poor ability to go through loose snow and climb up on snow.
You could mod your rails and raise the back wheels up .750 or so, been done on sleds, idea is it acts like a short track still goes through the snow ?
All the sled mfg have ditched that idea and all have come with sleds with that built in...............testing must show that its no so good.
