What tools do i need and where can i get them? I need to pull my clutch off so i can install my slp torque arm..

you wil need a wrench that fits the clutch center bolt, a CLUTCH PULLER, and something to hold the clutch from spinning without marring theclutch, like a piece of wood or a properly placed pry bar! or go and buy a clutch holder, SLP sells them

When you can't get it off even with the right tools, don't get pissed and start whacking at it with a hammer or something. The guy's on here have a couple of good tricks on here like tippint the sled on it's side and filling the inside hole with fluid (gease or penatrate oil) and put teflon tape on the threads of the clutch puller. Worked like a champ on mine. do a search for "primary clutch removal". :D

Ditto on what F15 Said

I just go mine off for the first time a few weeks ago. I had read on here it would be a bi&*h, but I didn't think it would be that bad.

I used a 3' cheeter and a buddy on a bar (wrapped for protection of clutch) holding the clutch. It nearly took the threads off the puller. The puller nose was pretty tweaked as well. We had put penetrating oil in with sled on its side and packed the hole full of grease. That did not work.

Finally, we filled the hole with penetrating oil, left it a week on its side and wrapped the threads on the puller with pipe tape and prayed. Cranked it tight and with a slight tap on the puller it finally let go.

Thats what worked for us.

In hind sight, we should have let it soak for a week to start with. I think that is what did the trick.

Good luck.

When I pulled mine off for the first time,I put a little grease on the tip of puller and on the threads of puller installed it,tightned it down quite a bit tap the end of puller lightly, tightned it some more then took the heat gun and warmed it up tap some more tightned it,then bam it was off good luck
