Pulled the trigger on an x3

Decided to get an x3 track. Any of you that made the switch did you need to to do any suspension changes for the added traction. Its a 156 so im guessing the front end may want to come up a bit more?

Crank up the pressure on the rear shock. I would start with a 1/2" and see how that works. It also helps to roll the bars forward some to allow you to lean farther forward on the sled when you need to. May need to soften the preload on the FTS too if adjusting the rear isnt enough. Eric
 
I wouldn't necessarily tighten the rear shock before you ride it.


I did the X3 with a limiter strap on the rear scissor (sorta like a transfer block like Zollingers make)


Took it off. Haven't missed it.
