one of the guys we ride with is a employee of CRS .the local road maintainance company.so the other day we b.s.ing about sleds ,,snow in the pass,and he mentioned that there will not be any funding from the b.c gov.dept. of transpotation to plow out any of the pullouts or parking spots in the pass .this includes the P.K. overpass, both parking spots for Beaver Creek,and the same goes for the Calazon creek road.this seriously sucks,some of these spots are not that safe when they are plowed,hate to think what they will look like with trailers and trucks all tucked into a ditch on a narrow curve with 12 foot snow banks..one accident would pay for alot of snow removal.
