PTO side plug foul

Yes injectors are expensive. Around $200 a piece for new ones and there are several diffent colors of them. I picked up an entire used fuel rail with all four injectors on ebay for $75. There are lots of parts for these motors out there.

You will not see a change in coolant temp until it's too late, It takes seconds for the piston to melt when you run lean and the EGT goes above 1350, I think it will melt at around 1380 or so and it will run like a SOB for a few seconds before it goes.
As for the oil pump return spring, I have heard of pump failure and others that are quite stiff and the pump spring is just not guite strong enough to return the pump to idle without a bit of help. Some guys have replaced the round return spring or even add one more turn to them just to deal with stiffer pumps.
I would suggest you have a good look at why the two sides are not burning equally. The best way to do this is with a dual EGT similar to the KOSO
You could have a clogged injector or air leak somewhere. These problem could sometimes be a PITA to troubleshoot.
Good luck.
FBF.

what is a dual egt?? or a KOSO

already have had both sides burn down last season and rebuilt....that cost me more then enough coin...dont want to be into that again...argg....getting frustrated...love driving it but seem to have it in the shop after every ride with something

wow thats expensive eh!

Ok so just when i htink i have this sled dialed in and ready to ride this happens......getting frustrated.

How long should you ride in order to get a good plug reading on a new set of plugs??

Anyone have a polaris fusion guru in Central ont canada, might be looking for some help soon

ngk vs champ

Hello, i get a bad plug on the mag side today. had som splutters when i started and then it only fired on the pto end.

Was at the local dealer to get some new ones. It was a set of champion RN57 YCC, and ive heared they are not the best .

So ive looked in the NGK catalog and it seems to be a ngk plug to replace instead. It is called NGK BR10EG. This was a expensive plug. about 23 dollars pr plug.( 135kr , Norway) Hope these are good ones.

i do have an 2005 900 rmk

hi my sled suddenly died and didnt run again before i put new sparks plug in it but only on left cyl.i remove exhaust and found leak exhaust gasket on right cyl. replace them. remove throttle body, full of dirt, clean it. remove reed valves, full of dirt, clean it. remove exhaust valves, right one full of dirt and stuck, clean them, put everything together and start the engine but it dont run on right cyl.now i thought i had damage cyl. or piston. look behind engine and found one vire to right injector was damage, repair it and start engine and it run just fine

cant be just got it rebuilt at the end of last season by RM stator.

What kind of compression should i be getting with the plugs pulled and throttle WO in each cylinder after 5 pulls

OK well i am going to have to test it again and see what the compression is at.

At this point i have put so much time and engery (and money of course) into this sled i dont know what to do anymore. Just when i think i have it ready to ride i get one ride and something craps out on it. I really do love this sled but i am spending more time wrenching them driving it.

What would a new out of the crate engine cost me....?
Should i just cut my loses and off load the sled?
Should i try and find a dealer who can service a fusion?

I jsut dont know anymore, between this and the ****ty snow we have here in ontario this year the sport is really starting to get to me:mad::confused:
