I bought an 06 rev with 2k miles on it, crank failed after 25 miles. I noticed poor gas mileage at the time but figured a new motor would fix it.
So... I just installed a new longblock from BRP, same poor mileage. All stock - motor, pistons, jetting, exhaust, etc. All sensors are hooked up and the computer does not give any beep errors. It runs great and has excellent power, but I can tell it is running extremely rich - both in mileage and by the way it loads up easily.
I figure it is a sensor not sending the right signal to the ECM, so the DPM is not creating a negative pressure in the float bowls to lean it out... or the DPM is failing.
Any other ideas?
