What's different between the 1080 and the 1085 jugs?
Is the bolt pattern different at all?

At one time I understood that PSI used the 1080 vs. 1085 designation to identify the Cat based motor from the Polaris based motor with the 1085 being Polaris based and 1080 being Cat based. This same type of ID I believe was also applied to 990/995 and perhaps others.

Beyond that I"m unclear on what the differences are. I'm unclear if the bigger Cat based PSI motors are all cylinder reed (vs. case reed) or if that was just the Cat based PSI 890 that used the cylinder reed design.

Call Bruce...........just kidding :)
