PS3 Question (MX vs ATV Untamed)

To preload you need to keep on the gas and just before the jump move the stick down and before you leave the jump move the stick up fast. Keep on the gas the whole time.
In the whoops be sure to lean back when you are going through them, you will get through faster. Also stay on the one side of whoops and learn the oncoming corner which way it goes. You can stay to the side the corner burm is on and haul arse through the corner.
One you learn that then learn to scrub. When you do this you stay low but are still able to clear the jumps. This makes airtime less and more time on the ground to keep the speed up.
Also you don't need to pre-load off every jump. There are a few tracks that you can just stay on the gas and keep a rythm through the track.
Also remember races are won alot of times in the corners. Learn how to take them fast and you will be on top.

Try to ride the entire time with the left stick pulled down. hold it down and steer with it down, then when you need to preload, just hit it up at the lip of a jump. if you guys are ready to be lapped, briing it.. lol
While in the game and online, you will see a memo pop up that says game invite recieved.
then if you are waiting for a room to start, hit the start button and click on the envelopes. you will see my invite there.

if not waiting for a race to start, on the main screen under the online section, click on the envelopes to see the invite and select it.

sorry to hijack, but what other games do you guys play online? I have GTA 4, COD 4, Lair, Transformers, COD 3, Resistance, Half Life orange box, Need For Speed Carbon, oblivion with shivering isles, ratchet & clank, motorstorm, and Dirt. I have never really played online, except for a few races on need for speed when I got my system back in Feb 2006, but would be interested to try it out with some fellow sledheads
I think my psn is slednecks or sledneck, I don't even know anymore, the thing hardly gets touched, how is MX vs ATV unleashed? I wasnt a big fan of the ATV off road series lately, but the first one for ps2 was my favorite, I spent countless hours in the freeride crater park.

I haven't played MX much lately because of TV issues and I borrowed the game out, but should be on later tonight after i get our new LCD setup.
Sell your dang PS3s and get an xbox!!!! Then we can all play against each other

Sure, if you think returning an XboX 4 times due to problems a good machine! I have had 5 XboX 360's and returned 4 times. 1 PS3 and the graphics are hands down better.
comes with Bluray player. xbox doesnt.
has built in wireless internet connectivity. xbox doesnt.
has light, motion sensitive like the WII and rechargable controllers. xbox are heavy and bulky and boring.
has free online network, xbox doesnt.
has web browser. xbox doesnt.
easily connectible to your home network to view videos and music. xbox isnt.
just a few things to mention. I guess you are just one of the many people who bought an xbox, then were pissed that they couldnt buy a new PS3.
