so my buddy had a clutch kit installed on his 146 xp. which included toms 3d arms.
first ride out it was hitting the rev limiter like CRAZY... so we took it apart and added more weight. We are now on our 4 or 5th try we have the 2 heaviest weights in there on hole 1 and 3 I think they are 7 grams. and last ride on clicker one he is hitting 8500 once and a while it was much better but not good enough. We don't know what to do !!
we need to get it to clicker 3 at least so we have room to go either way.
if we put more weight on hole 5 will that help? there must be a point where to much weight can't be good.. apparently it has stock pins in it still. is that the way to go? we are lost for ideas now. it is very frustrating...

What altitude are you riding at? When you're that far off you need to go to a lower finish rate for the primary spring. What's in it now?

Have FUN!

There is more information needed before anyone can help you out.

What elevation?

What clicker #?

What springs?

What helix?

What ramps?

Exact holes you have the weight?

Tom's anodized roller pin or stock pin?

Stock roller or oversized roller?

What belt?

I will have to get some of this info from my buddy..

6000-7000 Ft

Clicker 1

Holes 1 and 3 have the big brass weight on them 7 grams I believe each

Stock pins

Stock rollers

I ride from 6000' to 10000'. I started with the 5/16 brass in hole 4 and the small sliver in 2 with Tom's anodized pins. 8200-8300 in clicker 4 all day long. with 417 ramps 09 update to the primary clutch spring and stock Helix/spring in the secondary. I weight about 210. I went the first roller over size and RPM's are 8150-8250. I just spread the weight out today and will not know until Friday 4Feb on how they are. My current setup is,
Hole #2 small sliver
Hole #4 1/4" silver
Hole #7 screw and nut. no weight.

Awsome reponse. You better be holding on when you pin it. Good back-shift. My 154" was smoking my brother's 137 and his friend 146 with close set-up as mine. They were also running 3D arms...
