johnny, propane is heavy and has a huge flammable range. it would not take but a shorted brake light, a little static......nothing to turn that setup into death. moving that bottle would be a good plan. or close it in and vent it to the outside. remember to put your vents at the bottom.

uhhh, yeah. you might want to move that tank outside. both your tank and your regulator have overpressure vents on them. when the tanks warm the gas will expand and vent....boom. i'm assuming that heater vents outside somehow?

I was thinking of building a box around it, with vent hole's out the bottom of trailer...lots of road salt and such if I mount it out side.

Peace Out,

Johnny

we mounted ours out side and it sits in the toung of the trailer. and went to a RV store and got these very heavy duty tanks covers. they work great and dont have to worry about the trailer blowing up. i would defentley recomend moving that thing outside.

When I was racing we had a quick diconnect at the front of the trailer and carried the bottle in the truck since pase trailers don't have a big enough tounge to put the tank on.

Johnny, you should hook up that x1 bushing to 110 to keep that tank warm!you must be a lineman or a friend of a linemane to get ahold of a empty tub, good idea

3-4 I am not sure if jeremy is going or not. And if he goes there is a good chance that "brigham" (his brother) will come with him. I will find out. I will give dough the heads up that he is going to be painting some sparks on a tank holder!

only thing i see is.......if you happen to cross a "dip" going down the road (like the cross-road drains we have around here) you may make some sparks with the tub, since it is sitting a bit low....?

Shoud have plenty of clearence, It sits alot higher than the trailer step, and jack stand.
But your right about the "Tub and sparks"- thats never a good thing-
but then again I do earn alot of Money when sombody's power is Sparken!

Peace Out,

Johnny
