Okay, as many of you know I have a 12' PC and have pretty much hated it... However, I'm stubborn sob and don't like losing my azz, so I kept it and have tried my best to make it work for me.
1. Ditch the heavy stock can and replace it with a HPS.
2. Burandt Boards to narrow the chassis 33-30 at the plastic and replace the crappy factory ones that bend to easy.
3. Fix the lack of steering. Z-broz steering shaft and grind the spindles.
4. Continue with Diet. BDX oil injection delete and more precise oil delivery.
5. Poor mans HCR cooler mod.
6. Ditch the POS fuel Tank for something lighter and more accurate. Trail Tank!
7. 2.6x153 Track, WRP seat, Z-broz T-post, RSI risers, SLP skis, 38" arms.
So in summary. I really am starting to like this sled. Each ride it's getting better and better. I'm still lightly annoyed at spending this kind of money and time on a brand new sled but such is life. Something about lemons and lemonade...
The 2.6 track is amazing and I haven't even moved the Skid yet. Fuel tank is such a nice addition, no more guessing how much fuel is left now
. The cooler mod is interesting, I'm still packing snow on the back, probably needs a snow flap put back on. It was only a light dusting and it was really wet heavy snow. So far the track & narrow running boards/body have made the biggest seat of the pants improvements. Everything else together as a whole have helped as well, just not as drastic.
I have rode her twice and not fragged a belt so fingers crossed the Gearing updates are going to work, still packing 3 belts for awhile though
Sled is starting to become more nimble and easier to throw around... Now I need to knock the rust off my ridding skills. I haven't rode much in 2 years thanks too work and sucky snow conditions. So far we are getting pounded with storms, lets hope it continues.
I have some more mods but ran out time and just wanted to ride. So I will post up some more as I go.
