programer with can?

I am running a 12 pro rmk assault, I got bikeman can for it and the polaris dealer told me i will have drivability problems, they say I need a programer, I only installed the can not the pipe, any one else have to run a programer with only a can. I also only run at 0-3000'

Sounds like a dealer is trying to make a sale. I've never done it before.

your dealer shouldn't be a dealer

you most definetely do not need a programmer with just a can!!!! I would find a new dealer, he is either just trying to get a sale or doesn't have a clue

thats what I thought, I never had to program any of my other sleds with just a can. will run the can as is. thans for the confermation,

The dealer is probably just trying to cover his a**. If Polaris says no cans allowed on sleds that's what he has to say (should say) too. Better safe than sorry in his case. But I'd say there is no need for a fuel controller.
