Just outta curiosity, who makes a sled/atv lift similar to the kinds you see in the shops?

IE, ones that get the machine 3-4 feet off the ground so you can see it, work on it, etc ...

Any ideas on what one of these would cost? Seems like it'd make doing work on sleds a whole hell of a lot easier ...

My lift is a "Direct Lift XLT" http://www.derekweaver.com/html/products.aspx?id=6&d=Pro-Cycle_XLT_Motorcycle_Lifts If you need pics and measures on my lift let me know. The thing I like about it is, it is steel diamond tread top, vs the smooth tops, and most will agree, diamond is stronger than flat. My sleds don't slide side to side on the lift, and it holds a 162" sled with lots of room to work.
Price I paid 4 yrs ago with delivery was $750.00. Hope this helps.

well shoot, I guess that'd be all ya really need right there ....

I bought one like this and replaced the screw jack with an air actuated cherry picker cylinder from Harbor Tools for $75. Click on the air hose and power it to where you like.

I also bought a Mar-Lift and like it really well too.

Good luck. EW
