Wasatch Recreational Products (WRP) was formed in February of 2009 when its two founders Marc Stephenson and Doug Warnick were on the road to a tradeshow in Las Vegas, NV where they were about to debut some very leading edge products to the concrete products market. The two were unveiling their new fiber cement architectural cabinets and countertops to the general market when a long held thought came to mind … what if we were to develop, market, and sell snowmobile seats and other significant snowmobile related products and accessories.
Although hand cuffed to a certain degree by trade secrets and patents, Marc and Doug were determined to enter the market with a new and innovative approach to seat development, manufacturing and sale to a demanding audience. One of their care-abouts was the need to find better attachment means to the sled. Velcro and snaps was not in the cards for the new products to come, the big four OEMs attachment means were thought to be a better solution and the two sought out to develop a line of seats that incorporated OEM attachment methods. The core re-use philosophy was born.
WRPs seats utilize the factories mounting methods by re-use of the factory seat pan, hence the need for a core return in order for WRP to build a\ new seat. Though this is not an absolute requirement, some manufactures sell their seat pans individually so some WRP seat models can be constructed without the customers core return, though most seat models require a core return in order for the process to “work:.
WRPs seats incorporate all new seat foam designs that add some elevation (or height) to the seat to accommodate today’s new standup riding styles. By reducing the amount of knee-bend a rider can exert much more effort over a days riding and still come away feeling less muscle fatigue.
WRPs seat foams have also been coated with a very flexible and water resistant membrane to resist water absorption which can add significant weight to a seat. WRPs seat covers are manufactured using the finest low-crack-resistance vinyl and thread to create a very durable and maintenance free riding surface. No expense has been spared in the cover patterns and panels. Covers incorporate carbon fiber patterns coupled with no-slip saddle surfaces to deliver the highest degree of performance. Very few seams account for the seats “great looks” and flow. All of which are accented by their premium ultra-high stitch count embroidered logos.
WRP designs, manufactures, and sell the worlds finest aftermarket parts and accessories to the snowmobile market. Marc and Doug have over sixty (60) years combined snowmobile experience and leverage their life-long professional experience in business and manufacturing process building and development which leverage today’s leading edge CAD/CAM and CNC technologies.

Other then the obvious advantages to a taller seat, WRP will turn your seat around in 10 days or less!!
We have seen the quality that WRP puts out I don't think anyone will be disappointed with the WRP seat upgrade!
There are more products coming from WRP and one of them are Mountain TUFF boards with built in reinforcements.
