Team Lugs Racing just got back from a quick trip upto the Snowies! 50 inches of fresh powder! Team lugs does a lot back country technical riding in Southeast WY. This year we had some new gear with us. Follow our Facebook Page or YouTube Channel for more detailed reviews and cool Snowmoblie / Jetski videos.

The guys from BCA were nice enough to provide us with four BC link radios. I will tell you upfront, some of the older guys on the team were a little worried that they wouldn't perform. The radios far exceed our expectations!

We recommend that everyone in your group have one. We had five riders and four radios, guess which rider got lost the most! Otherwise, the radios were very useful in requesting or denying help from other within group.

The radios have excellent range in the backcountry (we used the GMRS freqs) We never had single issue with reception or clarity during the entire trip. We all wore the mics clipped across our chest. You could easily understand the transmissions through our helmets.

The only minor problem we came across was the already well documented selector switch changing channels without our knowledge. It did happen a couple of times, however it was pretty easy to recognize. We did come up with a pretty easy fix; use glue or tape to hold it in place.

Please feel free to contact us with questions! Ride safe!
