I have the 2010 Assault with the Pro Taper bars.
I have stock controls and I want to keep it that way, BUT, yes there is a but.
I want to have handguards, but I can`t stand the look of the Pro Taper billet mounts.
I want to modify and move stock P.E.R.C button and kill switch.
I see that you can slide out the kill switch by taking the cover behind it of. But there is a lot of wires coming in and out of it.
I know I have to leave the wires that comes from under the hood alone, but what can i do about the ones that is going out of the switch and into the big plastic that holds the throttle in place?
If I could cut away some plastic to make room for standard handguards mount that would be great. And to move the kill switch away and down on the bars to make me stop killing the sled in the woods!
