I realize that there is currently a thread for this from last season, but I am wondering what options there are. I saw on the last one that some people were using the Polaris guards with the billit hardware, and I can not see how that will work. Does anyone have any pictures of these. Thanks in advance for any input

I just installed the Polaris equipment on mine - they work fine. You basically put them on upside down is what my dealer told me. The hardware attaches to the handlebars below the crossmember and curve up. I would have to get a picture when I get home.

i have polaris mounts and guards on my assault they work fine - i just leave them a little loose so when i roll it they just fold out of the way - i have pics but they wont post ck my post on the other thread i have them posted there

Handguard Mounting

Here's a shot of mine on an Assault. Works well with the 16" high windshield too. Just barely contacts the windshield at full lock turn.

I thought the same thing when I went to install mine. But you dont mount them right next to the grips. You mount the billet piece down on the angled crossbar.

Polaris Billet mounts, 30$ and the hand guards available in red white or black for 20$. 2nd best mod I have every done.

I also have the Polaris mounts and guards. I didn’t like how they would sometimes move and I also wanted them to rotate so they wouldn’t break. I made a 45 degree L-shaped piece of aluminum that has a hole for the stock bolt and is also bolted in the second hole of the plastic guard mount. I then have a zip tie around it and the mount that will hopefully break before the guard does. I think the guards really protect your hands, they also keep them warmer, I haven’t removed the tree sap off them yet (pic).
