Pro Skid in an IQ

I put the predecessor of the Pro skid (coil over shock), the Holz rear skid, into my 550 Touring sled way back in 2001. Point being a Holz Alpha X skid, and I am sure many others, will bolt right on into your IQ. That is the easiest way I know to go about going to the current design craze.

I put my 2011 Assault skid in my 2009 Dragon with no issues. I used the metric bolts that came on the Assault in the Dragon and vice-versa.

I was wondering the same thing. This is good to know, now can a guy find a rear skid off of a pro. They work so well there are not as may laying around like there was when the IQ was hot. I snowcheck a new one, and was going to sell my D8 with the big bore. But if I could change the rear, I might keep it around.

FYI the bolt heads are basically the exact same size, and the 14mm wrench fits tighter on bolts that require a 9/16" lessening the chance of damage and helping keep the zinc coating on the bolts.
