Pro ski-spindle rubber

I noticed one of my ski / spindle rubbers about 2/3rds the way out of place while putting the trailer tie-down on. The other side is in place but the ski groove shows some malformation. Anybody else seeing this issue. I have noticed on several occasion making a deep turn going downhill to head back uphill that the uphill ski gets pushed straight up perpendicular to the track and it stops the sled dead in its tracks. I am sure this thing got pushed out of place when the ski was pointing straight up in the powder. The rubber that was pushed out is malformed and will have to be replaced. Looks like it should have been full width of the spindle and a little heavier.

Wyo, my dragon used to do it...and you are right, its from the ski getting bent up to far, I got in the habit of looking at them before every ride and carrying a spare just in case(I lost one one time unloading and didnt notice it, made it a few miles from the truck, wheelied up over the river bank and the rubber popped out, ski went straight tip down, buried into the snow and folded the upper a-arm...).keep an eye on it for sure....

That very thing (minus the river) happened to my wife's IQ this weekend. Crumpled the upper A arm into the WE shock. I hope the shock is not toast too now.
