im clutching handicapped, how do you adjust belt deflection on a pro, i know how to open the sheaves to take belt of but thats about it.

7/16ths nut, 1/8th allen bolt inside. It's the goldish nut with the black allen bolt sticking out of it near the hole for opening the sheaves to get the belt on and off. Loosen nut, adjust deflection with allen, tighten nut, done.

Be careful not to strip out the bolt tho. If your trying to open the sheeves use the tool for changing belts and use that to spread it a little bit.

good advise...also make sure you get it tight..but not too tight, they strip easy..I carry a spare in my tool bag..have seen guys adjust them and then on a ride they come loose and fall out...not good....

I've heard of that adjusting bolt breaking too. I also carry a spare.
