Pro secondary set up ?

Just wondered if anybody that is running the team secondary Black/Purple spring ( 160/240 ), with the stock helix has tried the SLP secondary spring shim?? I know it works with the stock 155/222 spring, and I know it makes a faster back shift, but I wouldn't want to hold the up shift back to much. I was thinking of installing it for the higher country where the pulls are longer and steeper. Like the Pemberton Ice Fields.-------Thanks

A friend of mine wasn't liking the RPM fluctuation he was getting so he went to the higher rate spring and the installed the SLP shim that goes on top of the helix, thus shortening your initial helix angle a bit. His fluctuating R's settled in and his launch doesn't seem any slower out of the hole because of it. It seemed to be a decent improvement at 10,000' anyway.
