I want to get rid of my white windshield, and I'm looking for a matte black mid-height one for my 2013 Pro. Can I order a matte black one, for say a 2011 sled, and have it fit perfectly on my sled? I checked the fiche for both years, and they both look to use 6 of the plastic fasteners to hold it in place.

Second question, was it 2011, 2012, or both that had the matte black, mid-height windshields as standard equipment?

Both 11 and 12 matte black was the standard windshield. It mounts the exact same way and will fit no problem. Any dealer will be able to find the windshield in their accessory book or you can find it on the polaris website in the accessories.
