Working on a buddies 12 PRO800. Had a silber turbo. Taking back to stock. Have everything reassembled and it will not start. Seems to be loading up. Lots of excess fuel. When plugs are removed you can see it fuming out.

We did add v force reeds while everything was torn down.
We Have siphoned the old fuel.
New plugs with food spark!

Any clues?

Injector?
Did we miss a wire?

What year was the Silber kit? Did it have the Bully Dog? If it was a '14 or '15 with Bully Dog, then it's going to have the larger 1000cc injectors and the ECU will be flashed. Both would need to go back to stock.

If it is a turbo kit from '13 or earlier with secondary injectors, then the above info is moot.

No I believe he purchased it used in '13 so it was probably a '12 kit. Never sent the ECU in. Thanks though

It seems like it will burn for a while.

Hard to say without knowing if you got everything pulled out or not. Secondary injectors, All of the wiring harness.... Did you hook the stock map sensor back up????

If they are the new VF3R reeds, they maybe causing it to load up. There is a thread in the pro-ride section discussing this. Try putting stock reeds in and see if it runs.

Thanks guys I'll be sure to pass this info along. He ended up tearing down the top end and his hugs and Pistons were scored. Got lucky and found a set in stock!

Check to see if the pipe is full of gas. Take it off and dump it. A flooded sled can fill a pipe pretty fast and they will not start.

Are the injectors leaking? How long has it been sitting? Have the injectors cleaned and flow tested. Check the injector harness also.

Check to make sure the fuel pressure regulator is reinstalled on the fuel pump inside the tank. I chased my tail for hours ...
