Holz Racing Products Aluminum Rear Bumper tube for the Polaris Pro RMK
An affordable option to replace your broken carbon fiber rear bumper on your 2011-12 Polaris Pro-RMK and Assault 800
Our part is a direct replacement to the stock bumper tube.
Why replace the entire bumper with an over-priced unit, when you can fix the weak link for a fraction of the cost?

- Knurled surface for better grip
- Includes replacement rivets for install
- Made in the USA

Will have installed pic this afternoon.
Parts available now.

Matt... Nice simple solutinon to a common problem.

Good price and the average Joe with some basic tools can install it quickly.

This looks like a good way to go. I was planning on putting an aluminum tube inside my stock carbon fiber bumper to improve strength, but depending on the shipping cost this might be a better way to go.

This is what I just did. Cost $20 and I like the look of the stock carbo fiber tube. It looks "cool" lol

HOLZ:

VERY NICE!! Will this by any chance fit inside the stock carbon fiber tube? That would be the best of both worlds!!

I really like the look of the carbon fiber, but Polaris should be embarrassed about how easy these bumpers are to break...VERY poor engineering in my humble opinion!!

Cheers!

MH, why do you leave some threads like this and move others to the swapmeet section???:face-icon-small-con Seems a little biased to me.

I've not moved any FYI threads to the swapmeet...

Maybe someone else..

PM me if you think there is one that has been moved that shouldn't have been.

And about how useless they are when covered in snow with a glove on the hand :face-icon-small-sho

This is a replacement to the carbon piece. It will not fit inside.

Bummer....but a great idea though. May just have to get one of these if i cant find something that will fit inside the stock CF tube.

$35 + shipping for this one sure beats the $120 bumper replacement others are offering.

Cheers!

No need to be humble... I'm an epoxy supplier to the composites industry and their attempt is flat out laughable compared to what is available. Polaris should be ashamed of themselves for this joke of a rear bumper!

Have FUN!

i believe it was simply done for the "bling", "i have carbon fiber on my sled" factor. i think most people that really intended to ride the sled hard kind of laughed at it. when i first saw it i thought i would need to be replaced quickly, as did most everyone that looked at it. surprisingly though, mine hasn't broken yet. but i'm sure it will. when it does i'll order up one of holz. hmmm, maybe i should have them just through it in when they ship my shocks back...
