now i have over 500 miles on my 2012.installed a silber turbo kit at 430 miles. ran great first 2 rides then bam 1 cyl check plugs switch em so on.. well with a few more rides and this intemittin spark issue.. time to start swaping out coils wires disconect head lights whatever to get this thing to run awesome consistantley. to sum all this up...

check your plug wires my pto side plug wore right through and was arcing out on the head bolt causing my intermittin problem..
checked my buddys sled same milage year turbo ect and his were starting to wear through.

some heater hose protects our wires now..

it would have been a problem even if i was still riding it stock.. of course with a turbo on it now i had to buy the coil and wires but no biggie..

I've not heard of complaints of this on a stock sled.

I also know of a 2011 pro with this same problem. I believe it was only one side, and am not sure if it's pto or mag.

first thing i did was go to the slp wire kit, much nicer and I run the wires in wear proof loom as well.

I found a pic of the SLP wire kit on my sled.

Looked my 2012 over on thursday before the ride on the weekend. Found the PTO side wire was rubbing through on the top MAG side exhaust valve bolt. caught it just in time. Rerouted the wire and repositioned the clamp so it won't happen any more. Here are a couple pics I snapped when I found it.

i thought they would've fixed this from last year, lots of them, including mine did the same thing. mine rubbed through on the pinch clamp for the upper head cooling hose, replaced and covered the new ones with fuel line from cap to coil...

Looked at our 12 and it was ziptied well away from head bolts but it was rubbing through against a zip tie on the exhaust valve hose.

I knew I was not alone with this issue. I am glad that my misfourtune may help other ppl out.. And I am going to by the slp wire kit so then I will have an extra ignition set.

2011 PRO and noticed mid winter last year the plug wires were rubbing a groove into each other. Just moved them around a bit and re-zipped since I found it before it was a problem. Seems like a ton of rubbing on the 2011 on all different things. Noticed yesterday my brake line was rubbing on the upper frame gusset connection. Sheesh!

This is the reason I'm a premium member. Smart guys like you figure out these issues and save me a trip to the dealer. You guys rock.

On my '12 both plug wires are zip tied to the exhaust valve line on the MAG side of the "T" fitting on the exhaust valve line. Well out of the way of rubbing on anything...

Maybe some routing changes had taken place...???

X2 on my '11. And not only that but each plug wire has an extra rubber sleeve they are routed through. Like a wire loom but just rubber. More like heat shrink material but a little thicker. Well out of the way of "things".
