Pro RMK low alt clutch

I just picked up a new 2016 pro rmk from a dealer in Michigan. I had a low altitude kit put on for me and it was around $300 in parts. I had them put it on and when i picked up the sled they gave me 3 weights and a black spring? does that sound right to yous? Just making sure because they have forgotten so much stuff so far.

Sounds right as the sled from the factory is clutched for 6-8K and includes 3ea 10-64 weights and a 120/320 black primary spring. They probably changed the primary to the gold spring and the weights to 10-70 for used at 0-2k altitude.

Ya they prob set you up with Three 10-70 weights and a Gold spring..

SO-So..¡¡ low elevation setup but not great ..

I'm really liking 52/40 helix (Ordered it as a 52/40.36 and 52/38.36 it's a shelf order helix) and 11-68 weights on a SLP Green Pink spring ..black/ purple Spring in back with a delrin washer ,..Black Purple not nessesary if you have limited tools..

100.00 worth of parts is what you got. This is VERY easy to do. You remove 3 bolts (3/8" socket) to take the primary clutch cover off, the spring will be just laying there on the shaft. The 3 weights just have a simple pin holding them in, remove with 1/8" allen wrench and 3/8" wrench.
Only thing you need to do make sure you keep the "X" marked on the cover aligned with the "X" you see after removing the cover.

The whole job takes 10-15 min.... taking your time. If they charged you 300.00 in parts im guessing the labor was out of line too? Eric

What's the specific part's list that they replaced, as in, part numbers and vendor? Could be legit if they did aftermarket weights, springs, helix, just for parts.

If they just used OEM weights and a primary spring, they are stealers. Even if the price included labor.
