Pro RMK gauge not working.

Anybody know the fix for a gauge that does not work. Everything else works. Screen is black and none of the side lights come on.

Check the connections behind the mode switch on the cowl. Those connectors fall off pretty easy and can make it so your guage quit working, as well as your hand warmers.

Have you un plugged it and reconnected it? If its a black screen then it's getting power so it might be a bad gauge? Have you done anything to the sled or did this just happen?

If you have removed the hood or installed a gauge lifter check the plugs, gauge and the big one above the coolant res.
Sled will run fine normal but no screen or stops.

Thanks to all, looks like I need to keep digging. Ill start with the hand warmers. I have a standard RMK so the controls are on the bars. Electrical gremlins suck!

I have done all the above mentioned, accept the hand warmer check. The sled is bone stock.

Did you find out what was wrong? , I did a first winter start on my Pro and noticed that my gauge was not working.

i had a gauge go bad at the end of season last yr on my 14 assault with only 300 miles. worked fine two days earlier, then started her up for warm up and gauge was not working. it turned out that the select button was getting stuck internaly and the gauge was basically getting confused. had it replaced under warranty.
