Pro Rmk footwell vents --------------------------------------------------------------

Look very nice, but I don't think they're a must. Last season, my buddies and I put over 1200 miles on our Pros in deep powder and not one of us had issues with powder snow getting on the belt.

Done fishing. Let's go sledding !!

They were a must for me!! i wonder if it's a KIND of snow issue??? I dunno, but I had my belt slip on me MANY times before I got that vent! It was always when i was doing a techy move and had it over on it's side too (right when I didn't WANT it to slip!!)

Looks like a good products but again id say its not a must have, i was riding to day in about 3 or 4 feet deep snow carving 80 percent of the time on the left hand side (same as the belt side) and had 0 troubles with snow getting in the belt and making it slip Maybe i need more snow for it to get in there

I had the problem with belt slippage, I simply ty-rapped a piece of screen on the inside of the foot well.

You know, I don't think it has as much to do with how MUCH more a style of snow!! Like I said, I really couldn't seem to figure out what would cause it (not depth related, obviously had to have enough to get in there but I almost wonder if it's the moisture content of the snow???)

but I most DEFINITELY had the issue, and a fair amount!! Until I got the vent!

(not beating a dead horse about MY experience... just always surprised me how it happened to some and not others which makes me think it has more to do with riding style, snow make-up.... or ?? i dunno!!)

It's all style. If you put you foot in foot well and it's turned at about 45 degrees from the sled, the snow will be directed into the foot well when doing a donut, or cookie, to the left. If you can cut a donut/cookie and have the snow rolling over you legs, you will have snow in the clutch area without these.

It's all in style and foot placement but it does happen to quite a few Pro owners.

I had this problem last year only once because I only had one killer powder day. I just bought the mod rod 5 piece vent kit and absolutely love it. My sled runs a lot cooler (down side is hot dogger takes longer to cook) so I thought I better try the footwell vent(it didn't fit well so I had to do some trimming) but its on and I had an awesome powder last week and never had any snow in the clutch area. Great product!
