Woops.... cleaning my 2012 Polaris 800 Pro RMK exhaust valves and when I removed the valves, I forgot to make note what side the flat side of the guillotine valves that fits into the block goes. Does the cut out side face up or the smooth side? I will be investing in a shop manual in the near future. Thanks.

Possibly figured it out..... correct me if Im wrong but the flat side of the valve faces down with the cutouts facing up....
They will only go all the way in one way. Cheers
