Pro RMK cooling and tunnel wraps

I LOVE the idea of a tunnel wrap, and I do have one picked out.
But I am also considering how the coolant temps will affect the topside of the coolers with a vinyl wrap on top of it.

I am aware that a majority of the snow hitting the coolers is from the bottom side...but what about this top side exposure being covered by a vinyl wrap?

Being that the tunnel is a huge heat-sink, I wonder if any tunnel wrap is good for cooling. Anyway, considering the fuel cans and gear bags strapped to the top of most tunnels, I doubt a wrap will create too much added grief. I am waiting for awhile to see if any issues arise in the long term as the wrap business is fairly new. But I think wraps are very cool and hope they do not create issues. 550iq

From the research i have done and asking several knowledgable people on this forum who have wrapped their pro tunnels i decided that its not going to make a noticable difference on cooling.

Wrap away, i know im going to :bounce:

might run cooler

Not going to effect anything, it's just vinyl, not insulation. Snow won't stick to it but will lay on top of it nice which adds some cooling in my opinion. Snow will stick to it when it's bare metal, then melts when you stop, then refreezes, creating those little pockets between tunnel and snow stuck there, which in turn creates a nice little insulation pocket that holds heat in, like an igloo, so in theory, it'll run hotter than with vinyl on. I know people will disagree with this but think about it for a second before you bash it, I know you all have seen the gap between the snow and ice on your tunnel before. I have wrapped my tunnel since the start on new sleds and never had a problem, new 13' will be wrapped too.

Die hard poo and my self have wraps that go from the over structure all the at to the end of the tunnel under the tank to the back and down both sides. And I did not experience any difference in temps from the previous season. I put 700 or so miles and he did 1100 or something and saw no changes.

X2 i also ran a full tunnel wrap last season and saw no increase in temps
