PRO RMK Coolant Bottle Failure

While checking for the notorious Oil Supply Line Rub, I noticed that the one rivet plastic mount that holds on the coolant bottle had broke in two, notice the coolant hose has rubbed on the Jack Shaft.

The Oil Line had in fact wore through its plastic sheath against the bulkhead "knife edge."

Temp fix was zip ties.

There are alot of zip tie "fixes" on this sled.

I'm betting your "temp" fixes become permanent fixes. Hard to beat the handiness of zip-ties and the light weight. No real surprise that there are clearance issues in such a compact engine compartment though.

Its funny you mention labor in mexico, when these engines were all produced in the USA. Not to mention that the design was made BY POLARIS so how can you even consider blaming this on the labor force?

My sled has 175 miles on it and I can see it is headed in this direction. How the hell did you get the zip ties in behind the frame to secure it? Doesn't seem to be any room on my sled.

compact engine compartment? have you ever looked under the hood of an etec? i can't get over how much room there is under there to work on it.
