my wife's sled is having an annoying issue and i cant trace it. has great throttle response and is exactly as should be, untill it hits roughly 6900 rpm. Taps out around 7100rpm and it isnt like it bogging more like limiting.. ive checked plugs replaces plugs cleaned power valve and exhaust valves. where should i go next? preferably things i can try at home rather not have it diagnosed at the shop. thanks! :beer;

which is why im posting lol. what am i looking for is there filter inside tank or anything or? thanks for the input. bad pump?

Check the fuel lines and pick up diaphragms in the tank. Ethanol fuel can be tough on them. My fuel pump could be heard buzzing above the sound of the engine. Replaced deteriorated lines in tank and fuel filter. Before replacement could only get to about 1/4 throttle before it would fall on its face.

I removed the tanks and checked the filters etc no blockages or anything. However there is a yellow wire that is broken off inside but don't know where it goes could this be it? Anyone know what it does or where it goes. Clutch was checked too it's good.

Having almost same issues with wife's '14 660 Pro. Great throttle response all the way through, I let off for a half second or so and mash it and sled coughs/bogs around 6800 RPM and won't open up. I let off and slowly put throttle into it and cleans out and takes off.

I haven't listened for pump yet.

I've been following this thread to see what results are.

Hoping something simple since I cleaned both PV's, cleaned both clutches, rollers and weights are moving freely. She has a full tank of fuel so hopefully we can get that almost empty this weekend before I tear into fuel system.

I removed and checked all fuel filters, they all seem to be working as they should. Haven't got to the shed to work on it been too damn cold -30c all week. Getting out to do throttle bodies and reeds tomorrow and I'll get back!

How do you check a sealed fuel filter? It's remove and replace its located behind the oil tank.

I had the same issue with my 2013 800 -- had been running non-ethanol fuel for the past year but had neglected to add any water remover. Added Iso-Heet to my last two tanks, and my issue disappeared and has run fine since. You may want to try this if you are running non-ethanol fuel.

ak, when I say I checked the filters, I blew them all back to see if any debris etc came out. There seems to be no restrictions in the filters when you blow through them so they seem to be okay. I can't see filters being the issue in that case. I found one very tiny crack at the end of one reed, nt sure if that can make that much of a difference but I got new petals and installed them. Just got it back together will try tonight. And I have not run anything through the tank this year except Gas Line Antifreeze when it got really cold. Maybe another good idea is to drain my tank throw some seafoam or similar into the new tank and giver a shot too?

I run 91-octane and I believe it contains 10% ethanol I wanna say. I always run fuel additive in my diesel wouldn't be a bad idea for the sleds too they're worth more than the truck haha.

bog

Wife's 2012 600 had similar issues. Check eng. light finally came on after a month of bogging. Put on digital wrench. 113 injector failures.
