Just wondering if anyone has changed out tracks on this suspension and is it difficult. i'm going to snow check a 800 assult and will put a 136" x 1 3\4" on it, just wondering if i should do this in the deal or just do it myself

Are you getting the RMK version or Switchback version? The Switchback version has the shorter/smaller lugged track. It's not terrible complicated to change a track, just tedious and it does take some time. There are several threads on how to do this if that is what you are asking. I wouldn't want to pay a shop as I'm sure they will charge you 3-4 hours on top of 10-20% markup on a track.

Pretty straight forward. Allow 3-4 hours first time you do it. chain case apart, secondary off, loosen track tension remove front and rear scizzor bolts to remove rear skid, and axle pilot bearing assembly. Do it once and then never second guess youself again. Only touchy part is getting the drive shaft back thru the chain case without damaging the seal on the inside of the chaincase. Good luck.

'Im going to snow check a 136" 800 switchback with the pro ride rear suspension , so its the same as the older suspension to switch tracks?
