With all the bad threads out there, I just wanted to give props for what I think is the best sled. I have a 2011 800, never a problem and a 2013 800 pro that has been flawless till I hit a rock 2 weeks ago and pulled apart the a-arm. Dealer covered under warranty! Great sleds that rock.

I just purchased a rental sled (600 for the kids to learn on) from the same guy that my family has purchased over 6 rentals. this year he had 25 polaris 800's, he lost one motor, (sleds had 3500-4500 miles). In 8 600 motors he lost one (sleds with 2200 -3000 miles). He has 4 arctic cat 800's and had 3 of those go down. He has 2 skidoo 800's and had no problems.

So not a perfect test, but my experience has been the same. I really don't think that other brands are more reliable. knock on wood that my luck holds out. Loving my Pro and looking forward to another year!

But my brother's buddy, Darryl blew his up. And my Uncle's buddies cousin blew his up. So ALL POLARIS SUCK.:face-icon-small-con

Kinda sucks when you're on top and everyone wants to bring you down.:face-icon-small-ton

Sucks that your a-arm broke; a quality built sled would have sacrificed its sub-frame and bulkhead (or do they call those e and s modules?) to save that a-arm

I have had a 12,13, and now a 14 Pro.
ZERO issues with any of them.
They never fail to put a huge grin on my face at the end of the day.

I am always amazed at what these machines can do.
In the three years that I've ridden Pros, not One in our group has had an issue.
Couldn't be happier. Ride on!

Huh, that's the way I feel about those crappy bumpers Polaris puts on too! A real sled would suck all that force into the overstructure and break something under the hood instead of making me buy another bumper!! :face-icon-small-ton

Well my 11 lost two motors in a month, all because of oil cap not venting ,my 12 just ate a clutch roller at 800 miles, wife's new 14- the electric start only works part time, but other than that i love these sleds..

I have to agree with you on that. There are times I am just amazed too!
