PRO mid range stumbles

There apeers to be a common problem starting to rear its head. I was at a dealer and there were three Pro 800's in for the exact same problem.

Midrange stumbles...Dig. wrench showed error codes of an uncontrolled throttle. As in the little saftey switch behind the throttle block(ie dead mans switch)

when this error occurs and it has had nothing to do with the switch (not sure the cause yet) the sled will try to protect itself and only fire on one jug.

Has anybody else seen this yet?

I had the same stumble. it was getting bad but only seamed to be around at 7200 to 7800 sometimes at WOT. About 1200 miles ago I put in the premium resistor and i felt the hesitation a couple times the first ride but ran great ever since. Before this i checked my plug gap and that didn't make a difference. 2800 miles so far a very happy it was nice to get rid of the stumble.

Mine just came back from the dealer, no fault codes, but after checking every inch of the wiring harness, still nothing. The tech from Polaris told my dealer to check what plug was installed, I had the Prem plug installed, dealer checked the resistance of the plug I had installed, it was not in spec. Dealer installed a new Prem. plug, hoping this fixes my problem, as were heading to Island Park in 4 days. Just another thing to have your dealer check out.

Wow 2800 miles. That is a great year!

Deep diver, just for fun, try the next heavier set of weights in it..i have noticed when working on some clutching setups that the sled will hit the rev limiter almost as easy at part throttle as full throttle if the weights are a little light, and when it does the guage doesnt show over 72-7300 rpm most times, I got lucky and had the record feature and caught it, record was showing it going from 6800 and jumping right to 8450....I added 1 gram to the tip of each weight(slp mtx's) and it stopped doing it...something to try....

:face-icon-small-cooMine did same thing got worse with more miles, put non-ethanol plug in at 1000 miles and it hasn't acted up since. 2100 miles now awesome sled other than that!
