pro front bumper options?

Which front bumper would you recommend and why? Wrecked my stock one last weekend by barely touching a tree. Looking for a slightly tougher option that wont bend if you rub up on some willows.
I am already aware you don't want the bumper to be too tough for risk of bending the bulkhead ....

JT Sports

I used this one. I had a weld break on it and he sent me a brand new one for free! Great bumper, just strong enough, but not too strong.

I went with the extreme Polaris accesory bumper. Hated it!!! The alders now catch between the "wings" and the body and will stop you cold and toss you over the bars. 3 times in 2 days. Took a sawzall to the wings and now I'm happy. Next bumper will be a Vanamburg bumper. And the way the Extreme bumper is built, I am betting that there will be a "next" new bumper in my future lol

Another vote for the JT bumper. Good quality, fair priced and a good company to deal with. There's three of us running them and all have had good luck with them.

They come in three finishes, gloss, hammered black and raw which is nice if you want to do something custom.

Not to speak ill of a product but the factory Polaris extreme bumper is nothing to write home about. It's extremely light weight, welds look average at best and it just feels kinda cheap.

Another vote here for the JT bumper, we have proven them to be way stronger then the stock bumper this year. Not to mention they look cool and give you something to grab onto when you are stuck.

B&M saved my Pro. Bent the bumper but saved me as I endoed straight into a crevasse with a rock bottom. Had it in 3 days and easy install. The mounting position and reinforced cross member give it a rigidity I haven't seen in any others when you grab it.

Here's some more pics of the JT bumper, this one is the "hammered finish" which matches the plastic texture.

Thanks for the replies dudes. That jt bumper looks pretty good, looks like it sticks out a bit far though? Any problems with it digging in too hard when going through a de-ac or something?

I have the skinz on my 08 D7 and snapped a 6" diameter(no joke) fir tree. It then ran into a 24" diameter tree and crumpled back a bit and broke the left fender but rode it out no problem.

I'm looking at getting the newly redesigned pro bumper from skinz for my wifes 2012. The new one has 5 attachment points.

As does Vanamburgs. I didn't realize the Skinz was the same way.

Not at all.

VanAmburg all the way...no other design comes close...yet.

I'll start by saying that my opinion is biased...but when designing the VanAmburg bumper, our 2 goals were to eliminate the bolted joint in the down-tube, and have a more stout mounting point for the top tubes:

VanAmburg Boondocker Frt Bumper write-up

This last weekend in Revy, dropping into Monster Bowl, CoyoteGirl had a little "ghost rider" incident...very fast impact into a large fir tree. Stopped the sled dead in it's tracks...the bumper is now offset 1" to the left, BUT NO OTHER DAMAGE!!

I'll be doing a "post crash" follow up write-up later this evening.

JT Sports' bumper is a very nice upgrade. The pictures on here make it look like it sticks out front further than it looks in person. I went with the std semi-gloss black p-coat which is comparable to the stockers finish.

On a real world note the sides are AWESOME for grabbing onto to get unstuck in the deep.
