Pro-climb 1,100 LMT's on the line today

Yep just left the factory, and today on the line were the White/Orange Limted Pro-Climb 1100T's and HCR 1100T's had a great factory tour! Thanks to High Time's son, Cord (engineer for Cat) took time out of his day to give us our own personal tour! It was awesome I'm sure Jeff C will chime in when he gets back to the Twin Cities. I'm updating from my vehicle via my MiFi. :whoo:

How many do they build a day? How long from build date to on a trailer and on there way to a dealer? Mine was suppose to be built friday but not sure if they worked on Veterans day

I asked that question today, they are producing approximatley 230 sleds a day. And yes they worked last Friday, Vetran's Day. Not sure timetable after they are produced, as far as shipping to dealer.

when i was told there, was told 250-300 depending on models, changeover, ect ect.
all depends how the logostics work of dropping sleds at dealer for optimum loads in an area ect. If i could drive up and have them throw in the back of truck i would!
there were 2 sleds that showed up at my dealer when i was there on Nov 3. One had a tag that said mfg Nov 1 and the other was Oct 18 but they showed up at the same time.

Don't start with me. Teasing people doesn't help you know. I also am a guy on the ledge but tried not to be as vocal. I am glad it is one of the later builds but running out of days for first trip.

Is that the only model on the line? I thought i heard that they build 20 sleds of each model at a time? Any m1100T standards?

That little bald kid on the right in the first picture?

Owen:

During the tour I asked Cord if he could run and get a paper towel so Hilly could use it as a bib. He was drooling all over the floor and the line workers were slipping around......

He was like a kid on Christmas....

I of course kept my cool and acted like an adult......

51st Aniversary Edition WTF

:boxing: Getting tired of waiting. I think a thief in Thief River Falls stole my money.

My XF was scheduled to be built on the 16th of this month, that was the third date I have been given since August. Now my dealer tells me its now been pushed back to the 28th, yet some people with the same sled and build date have VIN# already. I also got a call from a good friend today that had the same sled as me on order (non spring check) and said today his dealer was notified that AC has cut more dealer turbos (his sled included) . The dealer told my friend that AC is way behind and is plain out of parts for these sleds. Dealer said dont expect Turbo sleds of any type to be delivered anytime soon, he made reference to Xmas or even beginning of January for final turbo deliveries. I don't know what or who to believe at this point, I will think twice about any future spring orders from any of the big 4 next time I buy a new sled.
