Pro -11 With SLP Pipe

Anybody running Full SLP setup/PCV Pipe on their Pro/Assault?
Is there a REAL WORLD gain in this pipe compared to stock? I read the dynochart and test from Dynotech. Looks good on paper but I wonder is it worth the investment? Is it reliable with pipe?
Should I use my money on tuning my 2011 or should I just buy a new 2012 and ride it stock? This thing rocks stock but always interested in more :face-icon-small-hap

Any videolinks on Pro/Assault with pipe? Is it too loud?

no power difference between the 11 and 12's so if you are looking for more power (i ALWAYS am) then keep the 11 and add to it. with the slp pipe and pcV w/ their map you will need to add two grams of weight in your primary (to each weight obviously) so yes, it does make a real world difference. the best part, it sounds completely stock. i've had twins with stingers on other sleds and i pretty much hate loud pipes now. also there are a few different heads out now that are suppose to help with performance. slp either has one or will have one shortly. the other nice thing with slp is it literally takes about 20 min to install the pipe. fits perfect and is super easy to do.

Two weekends ago I spent some time on a pro 163 with an SLP pipe and reeds. We were in 3+ ft of fresh powder. It was late season pow, but it was AMAZING snow. The weekend before, I was able to demo a standard 155 2011 RMK. Obviously, I was not able to do side by side comparison and obviously, I was comparing 2 different track lengths. That being said, I was very impressed with the pull of the pipe setup. I have an 09 Poo twin piper that pulls very hard. The seat-of-the-pants/ grip squeeze dyno was impressing the hell out of me. I was satisfied, but not necessarily impressed with the stock 155. I don't mean that in a negative way, it was just what I expected and I would ride a stocker in a heart beat. I was, on the other hand, VERY impressed with the SLP setup. In comparison, I am using the many single piped Dragons I have ridden to compare too. I was never really impressed with a single piped D. The question is... Is the pipe worth the $1000 price tag? This is an entirely relative question. 3 years ago when construction was good, I would have done the whole pipe, porting n head setup in a heart beat. Now that things have slowed way down, I will be happy to find a holdover standard RMK and slap some different bars on and ride the $hit out of it. To each his own pocket book........But dammit I was impressed with the pipe

I've rode side by side my 163 pro and a 163 pro with the full slp setup.
Both with the same clutch setups other than the primary weights. Neither clutch setups are stock. There is a noticeable difference.
The stocker set up throttle response seems lazy but steady in all throttle positions after climbing off the slp setup. The slp throttle response is very crisp and clean in all throttle positions and pulls noticeably harder. I believe anyone could tell the difference in the seat of the pants given the chance to ride both.
In summary I would say the stock pro is a blast to ride and as reliable as any stock sled and a slp piped pro should be as reliable as any stock sled and worth the investment. imo

I have the full SLP setup on my 11' Pro along with a Team Tied secondary. I did line it up with a completely stock 11' Pro with the same track. They were almost identical in racing up a well packed and tracked hill. But they felt no where near the same by seat of the pants. I was over reving by 100 to 150 rpms though.

I was turning 8350 climbing and 8450 on the trail so I added 1g to MTX. I haven't lined it up since then though. I've ridden it with the extra 1g but not lined it up. It just seems to pull really freaking hard compared to stock. Stock seems to be somewhat docile in comparison. However, I never rode my Pro with the stock TSS-04 secondary so the Tied could be as much the reason as the pipe.

Sort of decided to keep the -11 Pro and doing SLP pipe++ On it. Where do I get the best price on SLP pipe and Powercommander combo? Need to be able to ship international..
Any other mods you think is a must for 2011 Pro RMK?
This sled rocks!
