PRIME FUEL PUMP????

I removed my fuel tank to drain and clean and now I need to prime my fuel pump.I remember on the dragon there were brown and red wires up in the nose you can hook up a 12 volt battery to and charge the system.What do we do to charge the pro fuel system?

Next to the Primary Clutch.. lots if Plug-ins.. some are ECM.. DC pWR. Not those


It the Smallest one.. Narrowest one.. put 12 volts to it.. fuel pump will prime up..

The other three have ID decals on them and the fuel pump prime connector doesn't have a decal. They'll be located in side the black baggy thing at the left shock tower/clutch cover. Sorry, no pix yet, I pick up my sled tomorrow.

Its a 2 pin connector, red & brown on mine Assault 2011, no decals.

Red = +12V
Brown = Ground

I don't think there are any other loose 2 pin connector in that harnesscluster from what I can remember... (?)

Just so i get this right the first time,

just use spliced wires cominig off the 12v battery plug the red to red and the brown to black(negative).

Or just add 12 volt power to the plug you had to disconecct to take your tank off. That's the fuel pump.

There is a LARGE White Plug With many yellow Wires...

FYI.>>> Zip Tie Together!!!! This connector is just a push and hold... If you jump of hit the whoops just right... You will have a issue!!!!
