Primary spring/weights?

I was looking at my primary spring while I had the clutch off. The spring coating has come off and the spring is rusting. I was wondering if there is a better spring you guys recommend or if I should just replace the stock black/green spring. Also, the book says the 900 is suppose to take 10-74's around home (about 600 ft). Should I just stick with the book?

if you have stock pipe and flash, thats the best clutching for the altitude your at.

black/green
10-74

but if you have your stock secondary helix, you need to consider changing that with something more effective...lots of info on this here.

Educate me on weights...

My 2005 Fusion 900 has the blue spring with a white stripe and 11-76 weights. I am running an SLP head, pipes and muffler. The computer was re-mapped by the dealership for this set up. The guy I bought the sled from put the above weights in, said it was an improvement in his opinion. The manual shows 10-74 weights as stock, I assume that the 74 part is the grams the weight weighs?? What is the 10 part, or in my case the 11 part? I know it engages about 400 rpm earlier than it would stock. What do you guys think?
