Priest lake conditions--Worth the trip???

I'm thinking about going to Priest in a few weeks to go riding. It would be my first time there. Are the conditions any good? Here in Seattle it has been a tough year for finding good snow.

Not true, it may not be a record snow year but still some good riding can be had. There is some fresh, head north to the Mollies area. Trails were in good shape last weekend.

not recomended

just got back from priest lake tonight, was their for a week the trails were great but the snow was not, couldnt even get a hill climb in with the high risks of finding a log, stump or rock. but it does sound like they're suppose to get some snow over the next week but still doubt it will be enough. if you are looking for trails and sight seeing go but if looking for playing and climbing i would look for some where else my .02c

We are sitting in cabin #28, right now. We have been coming to Priest Lake Idaho since 1999, this is NOT the snow we are use to over here. There isn't any!!!! If you trail ride, then yes the trails are fine. If you want to hill climb or boon dock, not enough. Loving the view of the lake, yes!!! I would say, not worth the expense ... right now. Just my opinion. p.s. always great to see friends and relax, but no riding right now, darn!!!:(:(:(:(:(

I really appreciate the feedback guys! I think I will pass on Priest this year and head down to Bachelor or something.

try and enjoy it where ever you end up going. i was really looking forward to spend a lot of time up at the lake this winter too but definitely hasn't turned out all that great unfortunately.
