Just curious on a good buy for a 2011 Yamaha Nytro with the MPI 180 Supercharger? 162" track. Dealer has one on the floor ready to go. I imagine they are getting ready to dump it since the season is coming to the end. Also curious on the pros vs cons on the Supercharger vs the turbo. Thanks for the input!

In my limited knowledge of these things I would say the supercharger is better for more instantaneous power. Its commonly said turbos have a little bit of lag to them.

Brand new?

Figure price of sled
cost of install (600-800??)
dealer cost of kit

I am guessing a minimum of $15k, but maybe someone else will chime in....

SET UP?

completely set up with clutching dialed, $14-15000. the mpi kit doesn't come with any clutching and their reccommendations have been way off from our experience.

I will sell you my 09 with MPI supercharger for for $9900. It only has 650 miles and tons of upgrades. Fox Float X front shocks. OFT Steering Relocater. Custom Yoshimura exhaust. 153 chalenger track, Fastrax carbon fiber vent kit, Skinz tunnel kit with better boards.

If you can get that for sub 14k sounds like a good deal to me. Even if you snow checked one of the new ones you are probably 1500 more than that. The 2012 does come with the new track that is supposed to be better though. Either way you should come out great. You could still ride the new one a few times this year if you bought it.

Stuck a lot you are a bigger man than I. I would likely give up a lot of things before I sold my sled.
