Snotel Franklin Basin is showing over 2 feet new in the last few days and its supposed to snow more tonight

how do i get to the lower parking lot
I've been to Preston once but can't remember how to get to the lower parking lot. Can anyone give directions once i get on HWY 34?

Rode cub river yesterday, trail was about two sleds wide, dirt showing down low. about 20-24 inches of snow, more in the trees, snow got chunky and heavy by days end. good storm for everyone though! Rode last march about the same time in 4 ft of powder! Not as big of storm this year!

I will be heading out of town around 8am. I am going to the emigrant parking lot. It is the lot on top of the pass, on the highway between preston & Montpiler. should be there between 930 & 10.

No go for Saturday. Rode from Birch Creek last Saturday. The pony has been hard to start the last couple of rides. I think its a coolant problem but haven't taken it to Todd's to get it checked out. Hopefully it isn't a major repair. Hope you guys have a great day.
