Premix for winter

Do you guys just use a full synthetic premix like you would use in summer or do you switch to a snowmobile type premix oil? Advantage/disadvantage? I know you need to stay away from the bean oil

Oil is oil. I use Motul 800 40:1 on the CR500.

I use Maxima K2. It is equivalent to Castor like 927 and others, but K2 stays in suspension and will not separate in cold temps.

Now would a snowmobile oil have a lower viscosity? For the colder temps? Like the tundra R on he maxima site.
