got a 2013 silber kit on my 2011. its my first turbo sled and im just curious what I should check over before I start riding for the season? I had a full tank of av gas in it with stabil so ill probably drain that and put in some fresh fuel. check the obvious drivetrain components. anyone else have any other suggestions?

batteries in beacon, back pack all in one piece still, avalanche gear ready to go, then sled stuff

If you have a lot of turbo miles on it checking the reeds might be a good move if you plan on a high mile season. Also go over everything and look for any wires and hoses that may be rubbing. Go nuts with the zip ties to make sure everything is secure. Add some sheathing on your coolant hoses under the turbo and behind the clutch guard so you don't have any unexpected leaks over the season. Check your motor mounts and install an slp torque arm, it will pay for itself in belt savings. Turn up your oil pump a turn. If your running straight av gas add a splash of oil to each tank of fuel, your fuel pump will thank you. Toss in a new primary spring and check the bushings in the clutch weights, if you have many miles on it they are probably getting close to the spider. Make sure all your hose clamps on your air box are in good shape and tight. If you pull the throttle bodies off to check reeds make sure the o-rings are like new and lube them up good so you don't nick one when reinstalling. Then ride the piss out of it and have a great season.

Maybe change the turbo oil too. Depends how many miles I guess a guy puts on a year.
Thumbs up on reed check. Mine had chips on the bottom sets.
And Yes, check for rubbing of hoses and wires. Mine had almost rubbed through a coolant line in one spot. And I thought I did a good job of zip ties the first time.
Change chain case oil. Turbo power will put more strain on chain, gears, and oil. Mine was nasty black.
Also if your getting some miles on (1000+) time to check pistons. I did RKTek direct replacement pistons. My stock pistons looked okay, but had a deep scratch on intake side of one piston. Also checked my cylinders at the bottom for any signs of cracks. None.
Maybe check exhaust valves too. Mine were clean and bellows in good shape

So yeah, everything mtsledder said and more.....check it buddy!!!!!!
