Pre mix oil for 900

Okey my oil cable broke and new one gets here in two weeks by the erlyest.
Is it Okey to just pre mix the oil in the fuel tank on those engines and if so in what ratio ?

I'm pretty sure you can run without the oil cable if you mix yourself.

ENSURE you keep oil in the reservoir as it is still required to lube the center shaft.

You CANNOT premix the 900 motor. The crank bearings are sealed and only get oil from the oil pump

Let me rephrase this lol. If ur cable broke, it's at Max oil pump. Which means ur good for getting oil. And you should always add 1oz oil per gallon of fuel in your tank this will help lube Lower rod bearings..

My post above I thought you meant eliminating the oil pump entirely and just run a premix which is a no-no LOL

Don't forget about the center cavity that keep the center shaft lubed up that is fed from the center tube on the Oil resivoir
