Powerclaw on my assault?

I know there is a ton of threads out there about this but I can't find one that has the clear cut information I need. What exactly do I have to do to run a powerclaw? I know I'll need different drivers but which ones do I need? I would only go with the 2.25 lug. Would like to put the track on my 2011 rmk assault.

Thanks in advance.

Depends on if you want involute only or extrovert...

I have 1500+ miles on my 2011 Pro with Carl's involute only drivers.
No rail cutting, stock tension, no ratcheting.

Exactly what murph said. I have the same set up,works awesome and I have had no ratcheting since changing over to this track.

Thanks for the replies guys. So is it just swap drivers and throw the track in? Is there anything else you guys had to do? Do I use the same tooth drivers? Do I have to modify if I go with extrovert drivers? I think I might as well go with the involute drivers if you guys aren't having ratcheting problems. Should I move my skid to pro rmk mounting holes?

Drivers and track swap-- that's it, with involute only.

Extroverts require cutting rails (eff that), and running anti-stabs (no thanks)

I've only ever ridden Pros-- no Assaults-- so no opinion on hole mounting.

We do about 20 pro's a year with power claws. I have tracks in stock as well as drivers. Simple install just press off old drivers and press on the new ones. We are not running anti stap on the 2.25 with 8 tooth drivers. You can PM me if you wants pricing.

is the PC that much better than the 5.1?....i have the assault 155 also but was thinking of going to a 163 with CE 2.5.....if i wanna stay at 155 can i put a PC 153 with different drivers?....i did find the 5.1 spun alot so i did the
f-bomb track mod and seemed better around here but haven't had a chance to try it in the mtns yet...
never noticed that cat had a 2.6 pc thought just 2.25...would the 2.6 fit?...Thanks

The PC is a better overall track. The 5.1 probably floats a little better in the deepest and dryest of powder, but add any moisture to that snow, or any layers, and the PC will outperform it easily.

As stated here you can run the PC 153 with either 8 tooth involute drivers and no other mods, or 8 tooth combo drivers with rail cut (2") and an anti-stab kit. I am running the anti stab and 8 tooth extros but I know guys who just run the drivers and honestly they both seem to work equally well. I already had drivers and anti-stab kits in stock so I just did it that way.
